Dear Mount Vernon School Community:

I hope you have been able to enjoy the summer months, and that you and your children are excited about the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. Everyone in the school district is working hard to make this the best year ever for our kids, and we can’t wait to bring everyone back together in the next few weeks. Mount Vernon is a special place, and our quality school district is one of the things that makes it special as we work to live up to the mission of, “Fostering growth and confidence as learners and people.” As is tradition, it is now time to ask you to complete the annual online Registration process for the upcoming school year.

We ask that all families complete online Registration and pay their registration fees by August 11, 2023. Please let us know if there are any special circumstances which might make this difficult. Online Registration allows parents/guardians to register all students by using one family log in. Parents pay school fees using InTouch online payment system via your parent PowerSchool account (once online Registration is complete).

If you are a new family or you would like help registering your student online, please feel free to contact us at 319-895-8845. If you need any of the forms printed, please feel free to contact us. You may also email me directly at gbatenhorst@mtvernoncsd.staging2.juiceboxint.com if you have any questions or concerns.

I look forward to seeing you soon, and enjoy the remainder of the summer!

Sincerely,

Greg Batenhorst, Ed.D.
